TEACHER FEEDBACK

There are a lot of very nice shots in your sequence so far, and the soundtrack certainly sounds appropriate to the context of a thriller, but it's not hanging together as a coherent sequence just yet. Obviously the sound needs finishing. The visuals seem to shift quite abruptly from the shots of the statues and sculptures to the stalker section. Do you have an establishing shot that will enable you to link these two parts together? Also, do you mean for the audience to be able to identify a link between the knife wielding man and the hanging man? At the moment it is very ambiguous. If this was your intention, you need to be able to explain this in terms of what narrative questions and enigmas are being raised by the ambiguity and confusion that exists in the sequence at present.

THRILLER ANIMATIC

The music is eerie, mysterious.
Licked the background clock, resembles a flash back.
nice grave yard scene.
music gave the picture film a good eerie feel to it.
good use off fades.
Scenes went well with the soundtrack.
locations and mise-en-scene are appropriate to the thriller.
the music is eerie atmospheric, but possibly a little repetitive.

over all we are pleased with the responses given to are thriller picture video. The video could still be improved, we could have used more effects in the video to give it more feeling and atmosphere. also could have shortened each length of the pictures as they seem to drag on a little bit.

Face Off Opening Sequence Analysis

Sounds:
in the opening scene it started off with quiet gentle music with kids laughter then you hear the sound of the gunshot and the bullet entering the guy. In the background there was an eerie opra singing. then there was the part with the church people singing.

Visuals:
In the opening scene the colors of the film are toned down to give the effect of a memory. when the guy and the boy get shot the camera moves to show the blood on the marry go round and uses a sort of negative effect and quick movements.
